LOL. Interesting that people use their 4-year olds to proofread their eBay listings.

Anyway, my theory is that in 1985 that bass was the victim of a stern band leader, "either you get a normal pointy-headstock bass, or you are out of the band!. A 1965 Jazz Bass? Who are you, man, Bob Dylan? You look stupid playing a vintage Fender. . !" Guy goes to the hardware store and get a hacksaw.

$2000? If I didn't spend all my money on my hair extensions I would totally go for it.

I'm not sure if I'm more horrified at the actual neck or at the horrible grammar of the post.

After looking at that neck a second and third time.... as a guy who's not been that big a fan of Fender over the years, but respect the sound they create, and the impact they've had on music ever since their inception.... I've got to say that seeing the headstock cut like that just pisses me off! Not only that, but the discoloration that looks as if the decal and finish were burned off with a blowtorch... grrrrrrr.... Man, that's just not right! And a But It Now price of $2300?! Really?!

This guy should chance his Username from Axwizz, to ASSWIZZ!!!!

An ill-fated attempt to make a lefty Fender Performer bass? Your timeline is right on the money  :
