This guy doesn't have it in the "Left Handed" section so it's hard to find. I sometimes mindlessly page through everything because I'm insane with gas. This is not the higher end carbon or graphite neck. It's all wood except for rods in the core of the neck and looks like a simple preamp but I think those pickups are kick ass. I've never played one...

That looks like it might be a Koa body. What do you think Joe?

I think it does too but looks a little red but you never know. There are different woods to choose from in the UK where I do believe these are made. Personally I could never figure out why builders put knobs so close to the pickups. I find it anoying and it gets in my way...they are close to the pickups and forward.

Judging by the 4th and 5th pics, it looks like mahogany to me.

I asked the seller what the body wood is and he said maple :?: That doesn't seem right but it is nice looking. Low min bid too

Status basses were my dream instruments when I started playing bass but now it seems so...80's to me. I bet it sounds nice though.

I saw a band years ago called Die Cheerleader and their bass player played one of these. She looked cool as hell and had great tone so I've always been intrigued by these basses.

This is the cheaper Status Energy model, nice basses but nothing really exciting compared to the carbon necked models.
There's been one on offer in France for a long time now, but unfortunately it's been 'upgraded' with Bartolini licensed MK1 pickups and preamp :?
