I'm not used to seeing those tuners on a '76, but it makes sense as it probably took longer to use up the lefty parts.

is it just me or does the G string seem to barley on the fretboard in some pics and sadly somone turned this bass righty thus the strap button in the other cutaway horn and the righty nut.

the g string cut in the nut is wide, i think it may have been flipped at some point

It is a coveted and very desireable bass for a lefty. You would have to get a custom shop bass to get the 70's bridge pickup position, the maple neck, the ash body and nothing can replace the cool mojo of this bass. I won't be surprised if it ends up betweeen $1,800 and $2,200. If you are right-handed you can always get a 1975 reissue or a Marcus Miller. A new Lefty Japanese 1975 reissue goes for $1,300 and does not have the 70's bridge pickup position.
