that makes 2 of us. Nice top on the bass. i wonder how the pups sound, as I have never heard of them before this.

yeah, I remember seeing a very cool looking bass in one of the luthier forums (in either TB or BC) with those pups and wondering what they were.

from what I've heard, seems people either love em or hate em. I've never had a request for them, and find the clear cover too strange for my personal taste to justify ordering a set to test in a bass

definitely interested in hearing another report should anybody end up with a set

They discontinued that particular model of bass. It's the Riot, now they only make something called the Riot Deluxe, which seems much less impressive than the old plain Riots. I don't know the story with that. A year ago I got one that's a 6-stringer whose top looks extremely similar to that one. It was cheap on clearance for some reason but maybe that's because the electronics aren't really all that great. I think they actually need replaced but other than that it is a great bass. They came with EMG-HZ pickups stock and a 2-band EQ preamp.
