They look like some EMG JVX's (you can see the poles) - Those are awesome pickups very different from the 80's EMG. I am considering buying some for my jazz bass. Bobby Vega does a cool demo on Youtube.

Bobby Vega helped design those pickups. They are killer. I sat with him in discussion on them on his basses. Got to hold all his 60's basses and I tell you, they are heavy as hell. Good guy, KILLER player. He works up at EMG Headquarters 90 min from me.

Seems pricey for a used production CS bass.

Pretty good businessman this store owner! He sells a 5K bass to a customer and intelligently practices incremental selling ("I recommand...") to get another $179 of revenue...I should hire him for my business...

Regarding Bobby Vega, I saw him play live once and I was blown away. He is a great guy too. Now, he replaced Rocco in Tower of Power when he had all those health issues but Bobby's sound in my opinion lacks a little bit of "meat" to sub Rocco... But is it even possible to successfully sub Rocco? Just my 2 cents.
