Better hurry up, this'll be gone in a few minutes. The serial number looks like it's a 1991 model, which I believe is pre-truss rode era. http://cgi.ebay.com/Lefty-Modulus-Graphite-5-String-Steve-Miller-Bass-/160571044013?pt=Guitar&hash=item2562c7b0ad |

My girlfriend had the exact same one right-handed. I find the pics to be awful, especially for a store. Can't see a thing on those. |

Mr. Gravesbass actually played that bass and didn't have a whole lot of good things to say about it either. I think that's the 17MM spacing and I believe no truss rod. I don't care if a neck is made of carbonium nitrate or stainless concrete diamond composites. You need to be able to adjust a neck period. Pictures like that hide stuff. I will no longer buy anything where I can't see it. freaking phone cameras take better pics. Leads me to believe they did it intentionally. I shouldn't speak for anyone though maybe he can recall something different and that's just what I thought I heard. |

I played it too and was not impressed. The EMG electronic was very noisy (maybe an old battery?). The bass was part of the Steve Miller collection (probably belonged to his bassist who was a lefty). I stupidly miss the coolest part of this collection, an authentic Ovation Magnum which initially was listed for $1,000 and eventually went to $700. It was incredibly heavy (I'd say around 11 pounds) but sounded fantastic. PJmuck's dream bass. I did not know this site at the time otherwise I would have bought it and sold it for twice the price to him So someone in San Jose, probably owns it but since it was strung righty it might not be a lefty and the bass might be lost for ever to the enemy side... |

I also played it when it was at Guitar Showcase. A lot of Steve Miller's gear winds up there on consignment. This was 1 of 3 leftys that were there. I played it but not really interested. It was very light as well. |
