I recently exchanged some e-mails with Brian at Chuck Levin's (http://www.chucklevins.com) in Maryland, and he has a new Smith BSR-EG on closeout for $3500. This would cost $5100 if you ordered one today. Not bad.

In case anybody is interested. ;)

beautiful bass, to bad smiths are so one dimensional tone wise, everytime i see or hear someone play them they all sound the same

I had an Anniversary (1 of 2) that was near identical to this. they are great basses. This one looks like it has picolo frets. Mine had jumbo. They are very good sounding basses........
