http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... MEBOFFX:IT It's up for 10k right now. Figured people would want to know the seller just counter offered my lowball with a 6k offer. Could probably pick this up for 4.5 - 5k. That doesn't seem too bad |

That's insane that they would list it for $10K week after week and go as low as $6K without hesitation. Sems like they'd have beeter luck selling if they listed at $6K, but... I've never sold a bass like that, so what do I know? Anyway... it's 36" scale... deal killer for me. Too bad. Also, when this was built, "equipment weight" wasn't the buzz phrase, so... I'd be willing to bet that this bass is pushing the 11-12 lb mark. IIRC, like Wals, some older Foderas are boat anchors. |

I used to own a 36' scale bass made for me by a French bass maker. It sounded clear as a piano but was incredibly difficult and unpleasant to play because of the tension on the strings and the length of the neck. You certainly gotta be a tall which was probably not a concern for this basket ball player. |

A second offer was given for the bass and has expired. Anyone on this board? |
