http://cgi.ebay.com/1974-1975-Fender-Ja ... 155wt_1141 NOT QUITE SURE WHATS GOING ON WITH THE NECK - LOOKS LIKE A MESH OF 2 BASSES - ONE A POST '75 3 BOLT AND AN EARLIER 4 BOLT....definately not original as stated.... |

the pearloid material for the blocks looks kinda funky to me. I remember them being much more whitish, and not so yelloed as displayed in the pics. |

YOUR WELCOME GUYS! the seller this time around has a good answer for the neck 3-4 bolt concern we are wondering about,i guess using whatever parts fender has left over to make a LEFTY BASS seems pretty legit to me.i was alittle skeptical the last time it was for sale, but this time around things kinda make sense, thanks for posting it was for sale again, much appreciated. |

This same seller was selling a 70's P-bass a few weeks ago. He might just speculate on those instruments. |

FYI, Fender was notorious for applying two finishes, including a sunburst finish first. It's quite common. |
