http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-Left-Handed- ... 500wt_1105 http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-Soundgear-SR ... 632wt_1088 I don't see that second one selling at all, but the first one might have a reasonable reserve, and it already has EMG's in it. |

The second one is the cooler of the two in my opinion though. Not a fan of the electronics (I've had an identical one and loved the playability but hated the dry, thin tone and the EQ) but it has the better hardware (these Gotoh bridges are great, they have unlimited adjustability and everything locks in place). But I agree, it's definitely priced to keep. |

Yeah, the second one is an 1990 SR800LEL, so it has the Omni-adjust bridge, Lo-Z pickups, 2 band preamp and metal tuners. The first one is a 1992 SR800L, so it has the B IV bridge, which means the body is routed underneath, and the tuners are partially plastic, which I'm not a fan of. But the price of the '90......I'd sell my green '87 for that price! |

That first one is up to $224.50, but hasn't met the reserve. One hour left; I wonder what he set his reserve at (but not enough to bid on it). |

Topped out at $251.99, and didn't meet his reserve. I think he should have taken it - I have a '94-ish SR800, took the active EMG's out several years ago, and installed Aero passive pickups in it. I don't think I could get more than $150 for it, and that's here in Hawaii. You know what the sad part is, I traded my old '74 P-bass back in '96 - straight across - for the SR! If only I knew then what I etc.... |

Hey, I traded an '83 Precision towards my first 800, I got about $300 for it in trade. As a player, I had no regrets. But had I known then what I know now, I'd have kept the Precision and waited for a used 800 to pop up. |

If I still had my P-bass, I'd be selling it right now and buying applying the money towards a Sadowsky, Lakland, Lull, etc. Never liked the bass, but like the value it commands at this point. Oh well..... |
