the fingerboard is coming away from the neck in those pics. i wouldn't touch that bass with a barge pole! |

Did you get some bigger pics of that bass? Either my eyes are bad (probably) or I can't tell that from the pics. |

I bought it . As far as I can tell, the crack is purely cosmetic. I've adjusted the truss rod, switched new strings in and adjusted action and everything seems to be fine. So far so good (actually much better than good). I'm taking it to a luthier early next month though, just in case. |
