I had a Dillion MIK setneck righty bird pretty much the same thing as the tokai's, and NEVER had an issue from it fit, finish, or electronics playability. I still have 1 bird left MIJ, but it is a Jackson. The only thing I never liked about the Dillion was the "sharp" slab-body edges, but beyond that I used it a lot before selling it. ( because I play inverted, flipping tbirds takes ALL the neckdive out of them ) :)

sell the Jackson correct? ( It's not a lefty )

out of all the units over here it will probably be the last one to go if times get that bad.... the list of people who are always asking the same thing grows every year, even form the TB'ers who live in the UK.

How's the balance? T-Birds are notorious neck divers and one of the nice things about the Epi T-Birds (though obviously not as historically accurate in build or tone) is they have bolt on necks so you can swap out one of the neck bolts for a strap button and offset the balance issues.

it does have the famous thunderbird neckdive lol but thats not really a problem for me just keep your hand on the neck and you'll be good :)
