It's funny, this one is just like my main bass in a side-project, and the one in your other post is just like my back-up bass for that project. I love those basses.

OK Austin, I gotta know- what kind of side project requires a man to arrive armed with 2 Squier P-Bass Specials as weapons of choice?

You may be inspiring me to start a "Bass Bass Under $200" thread... hmmm... Squier P-Bass Special... SX SJB-62....

i played one about two years back in guitar center it was the only lefty bass they had it was new the set up was very bad tuners felt cheap ithe g string tuner was stiff as hell to turn and the volume knob was wired backwards but squier is like that some are crap and some are okay and some are pretty damn good.

Here's the deal. First off I always have at least 2 basses, my main gig requires at least 3!
Side project is a late 60s/early 70s psychedelic cover band(Jefferson Airplane, Moody Blues, Procol Harum, etc.) and with the P/J Squier I can get close enuff to any period bass tones I need, and I'm SO associated with playing Rickenbacker basses I wanted a different "voice" for this band.

I had a p-bass special in the past, was too neck heavy and wanted to neck dive. Sold it. Well constructed though. Squier puts out some of the best economy gear.
