I still have mine.  Yes, these are difficult to come by, though I know of another lefty black one that's still for sale in LA. Mine's the active model with EMGs, while the seller claims this one's passive. (Maybe he just means the PUPs?) One of the lightest solid body basses I've ever played, and the reverse P PUP layout in conjunction with the J PUP makes for an improved PUP blend over your standard PJ setup, IMO. Very underrated and undervalued basses. |

This one's an '87. FYI, my Pilot was made in the same batch run as this one. Serial number on mine is BE102619, his is BE102611! |
