I've toyed with the idea pf bidding on it also. But since i don't have the tools or the time to take on the project .....
Could be a great project for someone tho!

Seen that one too, but I'd be a bit weary about that crack in the body.. it's advertised as is and he is very specific about warranty and such. Worst case scenario he is hiding the fact that it might be glued back together...

Moot point for me now, it's over $400 so I'm out anyway. I expected it to get to at least $500 so though I'm a bit disappointed, I'm not surprised.

Some day the stars will line up just right and I'll get my Ric. :mrgreen:

Crack? – more like a “Fault Line”.

Worst case scenario: Give it a Gerald Casale body modification with bandsaw and tape:

Oh yeah, If I bought it I fully expect to have to reglue the wing back on.

The "good" news is that it appears as if the crack runs pretty close to the join of the wing to the neck so if you had to cut and reglue it could be a fairly invisable repair once it was done. Of couse you'd have to completely refinish it but that could be fun too.
