Someone is selling a Jim Reed 5 string up on Arni's site. Anybody here selling it? It looks like a nice quality instrument (neck thru, multi woods) and I'd never heard of the company before, but the seller has it listed at reasonable price. But what really peaked my interest was checking out the Jim Reed site and seeing Vox Teardrop and Phantom copies.
Does anybody know anything about these instruments and whether or not they'll make lefties of these models as well? A lefty Phantom bass would be cool. They're an iltain company, but there's a list of retailers/distributors on their site, but I e-mailed the US rep and the e-mail keeps coming back non-deliverable (Not a good sign).
