Nice, i've always wanterd one of these, but with a mahogany body. Seems a little overpriced to me |

darnit pjmuck you had to post this - must fight GAS . . . They are great basses, I have a fretless 1k that I bought on e bay (think it was posted here too before I got it). I only paid a bit over $700 - but it's a fretless, and those are usually less for used ones. I do think the price is too high, but will one of you please buy it so I don't! |

Just did a little checking - mine has an earlier serial # and has chrome bridge and plate. Check out this site for info http://www.ggjaguar.com/gnl.htm looks like they switched to black for '82 so this could be legit if it's later in '81. They also switched the pole piece design in this era - big hex, small hex, slotted - I can't keep all that straight. |
