Agreed. For some reason, Warwicks in general seem to have a hard time commanding much on the used market. They frequently don't hold their value, for some inexplicable reason. maybe this one's not getting many bites because of the MM PUP, which doesn't give you that classic Warwick growl?

I think that may in part have something to do with their incredible price hikes for new instruments. I still remember vividly when German-made Corvette Standards were €600 new and stores would have trouble selling them. I'm talking 20 years ago now, I must admit. Back then there was no "custom shop", or teambuilt and masterbuilt instruments, because they were ALL built to order. The current German Pro Series (Teambuilt) Corvette Standard sells for €2600 at Thomann.

Used prices have actually followed their MSRP, so arguably a used "old" Warwick will often be more expensive now than when it was new.

Now, I have to add Germany is our nextdoor neighbour and we're both EU member staties, so we have no import duties on Warwicks and the logistics of getting one shipped here aren't quite as involving as getting one across the Atlantic and outside the EU.
