Tom Tyner's the seller, and I've purchased many basses from him over the years. These are excellent basses and getting hard to find these days. He says the input jack is funky, but perhaps it only needs resoldering (or a replacement?).

For some reason, this style of Yamaha is the best bass I've ever heard played through a distortion pedal.
