I had a bass just like this before I sold most of them off and this is one of the few that I regret selling. Just an amazing sound and a great playing bass. This one is much cleaner than mine. If you never played a G&L they are amazing basses and the switches give you some amazing sounds. When I had 30+ basses, I would use this bass about 80% of the time. |

I have one, I've liked them, since I began seeing the first ones circa 1980 or so. I always wanted one. They are indeed a versatile instrument, with many tonal options. What's really strange to me- is that now that I own one, I just have not been able to quite bond with it. That is also true of some of my own builds! G&L, is easily on par with the basses they were derived from, Fenders and Music Mans. My L2000 is really a nice instrument. They keep increasing in price... if I didn't already have one, this would be in my sights. |
