I'm all set with Rics but man I love that color combo. |

Then it sounds like you're not quite all set with Rics. |

I had one for a while, but despite digging the tone and the look, the ergonomics didn't work for me at all. I've learned that it's pointless to fight that kind of thing. |

I have an '86, which plays like a dream. It has a nice thin, narrow neck. I'm not sure if I found a gem or if that was just a good run or a good era for RIC, but if that one is like mine, it will make someone happy. The bass in the listing has a true lefty headstock, whereas mine has a righty. So, I guess sometime between '86 and '89 was when RIC started making true lefty headstocks. The inlay on the '89 is still reversed, though. I kind of like that mine has a righty neck put on a lefty body. |

I think the 80s have gone down as one of Rick's best decades in terms of quality and variety. |
