It's all good and so much history with the Les Paul guitar but when they did the bass design I wonder if they ever talked about
"Should we keep the switch at Rhythm/Treble or change it to something that makes sense for a bass"

I like the custom switch ring that Ronn AustinLeftyBass had made for his Gibson Midtown that says BANG for bridge and BOOM for neck. He hasn't posted here in ages, but he still posts tons of pictures of his basses on Facebook.
