Pretty nice if everything checks out. For that price in what a appears to be very good shape the listing lacks a lot of info and needs many more and much better pics. Thought I'd post it anyway. Don't come across too many of this vintage lefties.

I would have bet everything, that it will get sold from hi-guitars Tokyo to a reseller and he will lift the price and just put it again on the market, that's such a pity

And the Reverb description is not correct, it is NOT an era correct case (that would have yellow lining inside) and also not left handed!

this is exactly the bass I posted here end of september offered by hi-guitars for 15.800 USD

Yep! I remember that posting now. It would be interesting if there was more info and pictures available, for reference purposes. Not in my price range by any stretch.

Thanks. I had not seen those. That better, but not as complete as it could be. Maybe it didn't register in my old brain, but I don't recall
seeing solid original paint in a neck pocket before. Don't see much if any checking and shade difference under the pick guard either. Maybe it doesn't show up in the pictures.

I showed the pictures 2 months ago to an US vintage expert, friend of mine, he said all looks original also neck pocket.
I had a conversation with the Tokyo guys, when they offered it, but it seemed all a bit of a strange shop, not knowing any details on the history of the bass or didn't want to share.
You felt that they were guitar experts, but had no clew on basses, so that's why i did not spend 15800 USD in the blue:-)
Now the price is ridiculous and the reverb description and pictures as well.

The solid paint in the neck pocket is era correct, please see beside this 60s Precision Picture from aboves offer, my 62 Jazz pocket
Nearly looking the same, so I am sure both have original Fender paint

by the way, Reverb price has massivly dropped, but still an expensive investment

Thanks for the neck pocket picks. Price is out of my range for sure. So few lefty comparables, it's hard to determined fair value.
