Sexy! It has all the right options. I love the contrasting veneer underneath that dark top. I would like it even more if the top covered the neck-through-body too.
I wonder why the face of the headstock had to be touched-up. It also appears to have brand new tuners, since they're Kiesel-branded and this definitely isn't Kiesel-era (they've stopped using Hipshot style B bridges a long time ago).

Appears someone tried to make the bass more marketable by putting on some type of finish, that didn't work well with the original... a poor choice whatever they used... correctable though... wouldn't be surprised if this was a $1000-plus bass when first built... early 2000's?

Good call. I thought it was an oil finish at first, but I'm thinking this may have had a gloss finish at one point and maybe someone sanded it down.
