In 1979 I was looking for my first Real Bass, I wanted a Ric but I did what my parents asked and discussed with my bass teacher (Ken Greenfield from Philly) and Ken replied that Music Man was the bass to get (again it was 79). I didn't listen and got my Ric now I love my Ric and still have it but whenever I see an early Music Man I remember how right my teacher was. Kudos to all those music teachers out there.

Wow.... There is a special place in hell for persons like that.

Mine was super cool - He actually loved the fact I was a lefty, as our basses was 'mirrored' when sitting across from each other.
