Yes that is correct, I purchased this bass new from Michael Pedulla and sold to Paulo a few years ago. When I sold it the bass had a Pearloid pickguard. I guess Paulo changed it to black. The little ding on the back confirms it was mine.

That's the one Bob! About 3 months ago I left the bass at Upfront Guitars to have them sell it and use the funds towards my G&L Matador order. Despite the Pedulla being a such a nice bass, I realized I hardly play ANY bass that has a J/J pickup configuration, and ANY bass that has Bartolini pickups/preamps in it. I had the my local luthier cut the black pickguard for it but the original white pickguard is included with it as well. |
