The picture of the back of this bass makes it look like an angry Alien.... |

I had one of these, the pickups sounded great, neck felt great but it had a terrible neck dive. |

Had a Hondo Flying V, wish I’d held on to it... Pelham blue, P pickup, big brass saddles.. Anyway, also had wicked neck dive (and it was a full scale, as opposed to the Eastwood’s 30”) fixed it by just moving the rear strap button closer to the crook of the body and it worked great. Also made it more comfortable in general. |

I had a cheap Davison Flying V bass that was a full scale instrument and was gigantic. Cool thing, though, was that it did not have neck dive, but without the benefit of an upper horn you need orangutan arms to reach the 1st couple of frets. But because it was a bolt on, you could add a strap button to the upper neck bolt to compensate. Unfortunately with these Eastwoods, they're neck through, so there's no way to address the neck dive via repositioning the strap button without drilling or unless you counterweighted the bass body or strap. |
