I wonder if the Espionage was working under cover at the Fender Plant and getting the design for the P Bass. |

This bass is a bit over named. Call it an Espionage...or call it a Navigator, but not both. Makes no sense when read together, theoretically. (Or it does, but packs no punch. It's like saying, "The Terrorist Avoider". On a positive note, from what I've read about these basses, the Navigator series was ESP's top of the line, "Custom shop" level instruments. Japanese QC was pretty excellent back then, and many feel the MIJs were better than Fender's MIA instruments at the time. For under $900, this could be an excellent deal. |
