How far back does Carvin go? I have never seen one this old.

I was eyeing that one, too. For such an oldie it sure is futuristic! Clean, too.

Carvin actually started in 1954 as a reseller company. At the time, they made no basses of their own, but carried the original Fender Precision, as well as Martin guitars. They didn't offer their own model until 1959, the #7-BG. Interesting thing about their early years, they were offering double necks right out of the gate too.
