I played a 5-string version of this model a month ago or so at a local music store, and liked the feel, sound, and looks. The 6-string version is currently on sale on several websites for $599. They have Bartolini pickups. The music store didn't have a 6-string model to try, but I'm assuming the neck wouldn't be too wide.

Has anyone come across this 6-string model, and had a chance to play it? Would like to hear any feedback you can offer...

These look pretty decent, but if you check the site it says delivery in 35 days. I've looked at this site for the last week or so myself and it's said 35 days delivery the whole time so I wonder when they actually expect to get them in. If you go to the Ibanez web site they don't show the sr506 as being available in lefty any more. Only the sr500 and the sr505.
