These are some weird strings, they really sound like nothing else out there. They have distinctive flatwound timbre, but the tension on these is so crazy low that the attack and dynamic shape of the note is nothing like, for instance, a set of Labellas. They also require a delicately light touch as a result of that tension.

How would you describe that 'attack and dynamic shape'?
Also interesting for the buyer of these strings :)

You may find that to be true for your own playing but I don't agree. I have them on all my P basses and on my Dano long scale. At times I like to play pretty hard and they sound great and feel great to play. You can play light or dig in if the tune calls for it, no problem. I love 'em. I always have a couple of extra sets ready but these strings seem to last forever. Otherwise I'd jump on this deal.

I agree that TI flats don't require a particularly delicate touch. I have them on my SB-1 and used to have them on one of my acoustics (which I definitely don't play gently).

The TI jazz rounds are a completely different story. They reward a gentle touch.
