Cool!

I played a CB-100E for a couple of years while pretending to be a righty. I liked it a lot. My brother still has it and plays it often. I wouldn't hesitate to try another Fender.

Interesting conversion, reasonable looking result. Wonder if the wood repair for the right side control panel altered the tone.

I'm no luthier, but I wouldn't think so. I don't think the sides vibrate much themselves.

I would be more concerned with the mod to the bridge, since that must have changed the way the stings impart vibrations into the top.
