Nothing as exciting as a 1960 P Bass, but it was a Westbury Track II that I flipped around lefty, yanked the frets out of and shellacked the neck (poorly), and painted over the finish (more poorly) in an abstract acrylic design to look similar to Adrian Belew/Eddie Van Halen guitars of the time (it ended up looking like the Partridge Family bus). I was in a band with Jaco's percussionist, and traded it to him for a Dr. Rhythm drum machine. I'd get in touch with him to see the whereabouts of the bass now, but he moved back to Brazil.
