I have one of these - in fact my serial number is just a few away - and with La Bella flats it's one of my most favorite basses to play!!! It's pricey, but you know... the whole supply/demand thing for us lefties...

You ever wonder why Fender has always used the word bass on their basses? Jazz Bass, Precision Bass, Musicmaster Bass,
This is akin to putting Stratocaster Guitar or Telecaster Guitar on their guitars, which they don't.

Anyway, just an observation...
