I have one of these $$'s and I love it! Tonal possibilities are rich and it's a player! When I first started picking it up, there was a bit of an adjustment--neck initially was somewhat uncomfortable--beefy; however, after a couple of months spent playing it alone, I grew to love its character and often, it's my 'go to bass'--built like a tank, but my eye's always on it when I gig, as I believe it would ding easily. I also own a Minnieweather 5 Sugaman that I love--great for slap and superb low B and it's a 34", along with a Roscoe SKB2005-killer bass, very playable and my oh my, what a low B
!!!
The B on on my $$ is very, very good, too. Not quite up there with the Roscoe, however, but aligning the poles of the humbuckers dead center with the string on the $$ gives that little extra, too.
Peace,
