Ronn, how do those bass VI's generally sound as far as low end goes? For some reason I have it in my mind that they might not be as bottom heavy as a 'normal' bass (I guess because of the lighter string gauges etc)..

The set on my basses is .95 .75 .56 .44 .35 .26 so not THAT light, they have plenty of oomph.

I have a Schecter and a Gretsch currently, and both have good bottom, my old Jerry Jones Longhorn VIs were a bit more on the twangy side tho'.
