The other day I saw a new Ric 4003 in Fireglo at Guitar Showcase in San Jose, CA for $1,995.

I'm just letting you know - I really don't know what new Rics are going for right now.

(I didn't ask, but I suspect they might be just a bit negotiable)

That's a good price for a new 4003, especially if it includes shipping.

These guys on eBay asking $3000+ crack me up. A late-model 4003 in really good shape will go for $2200 to $2300 on eBay.

Even brand new, Pick-of-the-Ricks only wants $2200.

There were a couple of FireGlos on eBay a couple weeks ago for a buy-it-now price or best offer of like $1900. They sold within minutes. The seller even accepted an offer for one of them. (Maybe it was the same one relisted and the buyer didn't follow through.)

when Ric first shipped the 4003's earlier this year, I do believe $1999 was the going price.
