it's reputed to have a farty, mid-range heavy characteristic quite similar to a cheese originating from Belgium that's world renowned for it's spreadability and robust ripeness

my thoughts on this bass: it could be tough to find parts for that bridge
all the best,

R

That sideways neckplate, while creative, is a turnoff for me (as is the headstock).

Offer the seller $250. It would be a good project at that price.

If you got it, stripped it down, pulled the hardware, lightly sanded it, replaced the bridge, reassembled, new strings and a really great set up, then throw it away it would be perfect.

The price is good for the parts of this bass, but there are too many visible shortcuts that would make me weary about trying to fix up this bass. The neckplate is one. What about the extra holes in the headstock? Didn't quite match them up the first time around I guess. Seller probably just gave up after a while. Good price for the parts though.
