I saw this too. More knobs and switches than a helicopter cockpit. At $12g, it better be able to drive me to LA and back.

OMG, I just had the worst case of g.a.s. since NAMM. For me it'd be worth the trip to Hawaii to go pick it up. Maybe fivebass52 can toodle on over there and get us a hands-on review (assuming he doesn't have to swim over to another island .... ) ?

Holy crapioli!!! That is one astounding bass. But $12g's? That is one astounding price. Not to mention the $27 grand the fellow apparently paid for it new. Guess it's time to check those lottery tickets.

I KNEW I should have become a plumber! Except every pipe I touch seems to leak.... :? I've talked to this guy through email in the past, IIRC through the Alembic thread as this bass was being built. I've been meaning to get to the Big Island of late to see friends and family, so maybe I can give you that hands-on, if he hasn't sold it by the time I go, which will be in July at some point.

There's no doubt that when money is no issue, this is the bass that can be built!
