Woah! Now that's a sharp looking knockoff at a decent price. Anybody know the full specs? - i.e. woods, neck thru, stereo out, overall sound/playability, same body routes as a Rick?. Does that back pickup look closer to the neck than a stock Rick, or is it just the different PUP cover size throwing me off? The obvious question here would be whether or not you could drop in real Rick hi gains or toasters without re-routing. I checked and it appears a few UK dealers have these in stock now:

Im super confused by that website... How come, even with wholesale prices, that even for a Gibson you pay less than $400?
I read somewhere that the manufacturing is done in China, but some even have 'made in the USA' on the back. Is that even legal?

I hope im just being stupid here... ;)

They sell fake products of all kinds. I've read they keep shutting them down but they pup up short after with a new site. Thats the chinese market, hard to handle with.

That is a very nice looking copy. I'd be into getting one if I had the spare funds.

Just be careful about the Chinese direct sourcing- there are a number of different sellers/ suppliers represented on that site. Some are probably legit, and some are less reputable. Many are just using someone elses's stock photos, so what you see isn't always what you get, especially with the "copy" guitars. I have heard stories and seen firsthand situations where guitars were ordered based on a picture of a really good and accurate "copy"- but what actually showed up was of significantly lesser quality. For example, I know a guy that bought a Gibson 335 "copy": the picture looked exactly like the cherry one pictured below on the left- but what actually showed up was a red Jay Turser (like the one on the right) with a Gibson logo instead of the Turser logo. And don't even think about returns.

 I love the "Do Not Copy" stamp on all the instrument photos. Talk about a pair of brass balls.
