Why did I think you were looking for a Model T with a Rosewood board? |

Thanks but I'm looking for the one that has a rosewood board. |

superheavydeathmetal wrote: Why did I think you were looking for a Model T with a Rosewood board? Yep I'm not a fan of the off center blocks. And I already have enough maple boards on the family! So yeah any color goes as long as it has a rosewood board. IDK if they ever made any other color but I only have seen the butterscotch that I'm not too crazy about either. But works for me! At this time of year we can call it "egg nog" instead of butterscotch! |

Nice! I love egg nog. I was just telling my friend the other day that I am excited about having some again. It's so rich and heavy that I can drink it for a meal. I am absolutely a Maple guy. The only time I prefer anything else is for a pure white bass to have a super-dark fretboard (and black hardware). |

Paulo, don't take my word for it but check it out: I believe the pups or electronics are not the same between the new T (the one with the block inlays) and the 'older' version, the one pictured in butterscotch with no block inlays... |

Indeed. Old: passive SD SPB-2 / SJB-2. New: EMG 18v active w/ 2-band EQ. |

Thanks Yolly and Tim! At this point it doesn't matter, as long as it sounds good. If not, I can always upgrade the electronics. I prefer not to of course! ![]() |

I have one. Near mint, still has the plastic on the pickguard. I had just purchased it and was about to put some flatwounds on it when I had my accident, so I've never even played it. (Of course I'll put the original strings back on): |

Score! Having watched the video Paulo posted above, I definitely prefer the tone of these old passive models (even though I think the new model looks cooler). |
