that's right ... err ... correct - I'm looking for a full scale outline tracing of a Thunderbird body. for my purposes it doesn't matter whether it's righty or lefty, I can flip the tracing to match the rotation I need. and I don't have need for the neck or headstock ... just the body outline will do

know of somebody who has one of these that will let you trace the outline? if you do, please drop me a PM so we can make arrangements to cover materials and postage

thanks for helping out!

all the best,

R

I don't have access to a body I can trace, but I like Fenderbirds!

PJ has an Epiphone T-Bird, would that work?

so long as the overall shape is reasonably close it should work

I probably could give you a 1:1 version of this:

hey D - that would be fantastic!

if you have this full-scale in electronic format, drop me a PM so I can provide you my e-mail address that has room enough for that large of an attachment

all the best,

I'm not sure what format you need, but I have that in autocad release 2000, which is 302kb, and I just made a 1:1 scale .pdf of the front & back body, which is 41.7kb. Also, as an aside, I still have that neck and wouldn't mind hearing how much it would cost you to make a body for me.

I forgot about how cool your bass drawings are Dan. You should do a thread of all your bass drawings in the Gallery. It'd be cool to see them all together.

Thanks again for this ... and if my house doesn't sell anytime soon, you just might see something 'interesting' in a Blueprinting and Bondo thread ;)

all the best,

you gonna tear down your house and use the wood to build guitars?

Have you finished all the work on your house you wanted to do Rod?

Nope, just 2. One from the time I had a Modulus neck lying around, and the T-bird one for the Samson neck I have lying around.
