I know it's not a bass, but reaching out to the lefty community nonetheless...

I'm looking for a left-handed Gibson Hummingbird if you come across one for sale.

Thanks for being an extension of my eyes and ears out there!

You may want to give LeftyGuitarTrader.com a shot:

Good guys there. I like to stop by every so often just to see what is going on and chime in if I feel so inclined. I have never bought or sold anything through that site because I don't deal in guitars much. I don't really deal in guitars at all, anymore. I have never really GASed for guitars the way I do with basses, even when I am in a heavy guitar playing phase. I have my main axe, my backup, my dear Strat and my travel Steinberger Spirit. I really don't see myself buying another guitar for very a long time.

I don't know why I bothered to tell you all that . I guess it was just a stream of consiousness.

Thanks for the tip - haven't heard of it. I'll check out the site!
And no problems with the stream of conscious - always fun to hear about lefty trials and tribulations!

I bought the Hummingbird that Southpaw had. Should arrive next week - I'll let you know how it checks out. Thanks for the tips on those other sites - now I have even more "enablers!"
