the resale value is crap, I wouldn't sell mine for what the going rate is because its a bunch of bs that a used bass of this quality sells for what a new fender costs (if your lucky). nothing against fender, I have 5m but the Spector blows it away in every possible way.

Do you know anyone who is selling one? Or might sell one?

And yeah I couldn't believe the steals they're going for. Amazing basses. This site is so much better than eBay. Probably because its a players community here and we know more about what we've got alot of the time.

Yeah the eBay prices on alot of stuff especially instruments, specifically left handed ones, can be extremely jacked up and out there. And that depends, how much would that be? I saw a number for 1200 and under on the forums all around here.

I'd love to get a green stain gloss over quilt top with black hardware. I emailed PJ from Spector to see if I can get one

Damn... How much would that run you down?

And if I ever got a Spector or two, which I'd like to someday, I would like it to either be a 4 stronger with EMG PJ pups, gold hardware, and trans black or even (any really but preferably gloss) black finish.; or a 5 string with EMG DC40 pups and probably a black finish.

Well, its all about IF they'll build it. My white one was a custom order hence $2400! I myself feel that to get the true Spector tone you need p&j pick ups. I had a legend with emg 40s and an emg preamp, far cry from my euro
