I'm going to try this again since my last post was very unsucessful as I had two users bail on me... I'm looking for a good, used lefty bass from one of you guys. Since I already have a jazz bass, I'd like it to be either a precision or P/J configuration. I'm partial to Fender style basses so I'd like one that at least looks like one. My spending limit is $200 and I look foward to getting some emails!! P.S. - I already know to check craigslist and ebay so I don't need a reminder lol. |

www.rondomusic.com is another source to check, though not sure if I've seen a P/J combo on their site. But the basses are under $200.... Click on Bass Guitars, and look for the Left Handed Basses tab. |

I however loathe the new headstocks and even though I can modify it, this is why I'm trying to buy a used bass from this site with the old headstock so I can bypass having to get a dremel and modding the headstock. About Squiers in that price range : will I still have to have the frets on the neck leveled? I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. |

It's always a possibility if you buy sight-unseen. Best to go to some local music stores and play some Squires, and try and feel out the neck for dead spots, uneven frets etc. You've got to understand though, that for $200 you're most likely going to have some kind of issue... that's why it's best to get your hands on a bunch, and find one that feels good in your hands. |
