Wanting to potentially buy Yamaha TRB4 or 5 from 1994-1998 (I think that is the correct timeframe). The models with the 34 inch scale and 19mm string spacing. Thanks! |

I think only the TRB5 II was made left handed. This is only the 35" scale 5-string version. When the Japanese TRB's were discontinued, for a while there was the Taiwanese-made TRB1005, recognizable by the quilted maple veneer and the return of the "slap cut" of the first TRB's. Yamaha currently builds the TRB1005 in Indonesia, but currently no lefties. |

Gotcha. I've owned the TRBII, was a really nice bass, but was hopeful that there might be a TRB out there somewhere. Oh well, guess not. Thanks for the info! |
