When you say you don't want a Sprit, do you mean you are looking for a composite bass instead of wood? Or do you not want that body style and you're looking for something like a Kiesel?

I meant that I wasn't necessarily interested in a Steinberger "Spirit," as I already own a few of those (unless it was the XT2 white lefty, as Paulo offered a few weeks back). But yeah, my first choice would be composite / graphite, but as those are pretty rare as it is, esp in a left-handed model, I am open to all wood as well. I'm always interested in headless basses, regardless of body style.

The bottom line is, if its a lefty headless, then you've piqued my interest!

Someone in France is selling this one, but I think it's wickedly overpriced for what it is. It has a modified Yamaha BB405 neck with a custom body and although it looks cool, the starting point comes from an affordable entry level instrument.

Forgot to mention these. I dig the look/price, but have no experience with one. I do own a SX Ursa 6 string bass that I installed an Audere preamp into that plays/sound fantastic though:

Had a Hohner B2A 4-string (active EQ) back in the 90's that I bought brand new - it got stolen. Eventually bought a Spirit 4-string (passive), didn't care for it, so sold it. Bought a Hohner B2A (active EQ) 5-string back in 2015. Had to replace the knee-rest, bought it's in good shape. The only think I don't care for is the strings that are currently on it - they have too much tension for my taste. Haven't gotten around to it yet, but I plan on changing the strings to the lightest gauge I can find...

The way the bass hangs on the body is always a challenge, as the 1st-fret area is much farther away from the normal position of a typical bass body/neck "hang". It is a great travel bass though, and why I bought it. Jury's still out on if I keep it, bought I "just like it", and they seem to be becoming more rare these days...
