For a while, one of my dream basses has been a NT Yamaha BB-Bass. I don’t know if I’ll ever find one in the states, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any models that fit the bill with a more “traditional” styling. A P (preferred) or PJ would be awesome. Right now the only thing that cokes to mind is a Streamer or Spector. I like the styles of both of those, but I much prefer the BB basses. Are there any models I’m missing? Thanks everybody! |

Have you tried EMGs pickups that they say are a P in a Humbucker housing? I'm curious how close the sound actually is. I have an L2000 that I love how it plays, but most of the time I just leave it on single coil mode on the neck pickup and wish it didn't hum. |

I forgot to say thanks for the recommendation. I wish I could get behind the headstock shape of those basses. The AP-4 looks like it might be a solid choice. Neck through isn't a must, I was just wondering if there may have been something out there that I was unaware of. |
