Hey everyone, I'm interested in getting a nice player's grade vintage Fender Precision or Jazz bass. I'm after a bass with wear and tear on it. I play my basses so I don't want to buy a pristine vintage bass and then put wear on it. So something on the "mildly broken in" to "dragged behind a truck" scale.
-has to be under 9 lbs.
-only after precision basses with rosewood boards (maple board on a jazz is ok)
-sunburst, black, white, natural body finishes (or stripped)
If you have a bass like this you'd consider selling please let me know, or please keep an eye out for basses that fit this criteria.
I might move in the next couple years so in lieu of having to lug a bunch of basses I'm looking at trading quantity for quality and sell down my collection to buy a couple nice playing vintage basses. Thanks!
*I'd also consider heavy relic'ed Fender custom shop basses that fit the above criteria too.
