Hi guys,
I have some serious Jazz GAS going on. It's terminal.
I have a deal in the works, but it is only a possibility. If it doesn't pan out, I will probably pull the trigger on a new G&L JB or Fender ADE. But, before I do, I figure I might as well see if someone has something in the closet jazz that he just hasn't got around to listing yet.
I would like something at least as well-built as an American Fender, with a maple fretboard and
not a 3-tone burst. Passive is preferred, but active may be okay, as long as has "that jazz tone."
I miss "that jazz tone" so much. You know that super-aggressive makes a Warwick and a Stingray pee its pants tone I am referring to:

I never really "got" what a Rick is capable of until I ran it stereo a few times in my college band. We used to call it the "Piano of Doom". You get all the bottom and all the top in total a**kicking mode.
